Understand what you're doing
You can watch hundreds of epoxy videos online.
But following a video is very different from understanding what is actually happening.
Why do some colour combinations create a sophisticated design while others turn muddy? How do you create movement without losing control? How do you build depth and balance? And what do you do when the epoxy doesn’t behave as expected?
During the live demonstrations, Antoynette explains what she is doing, why she is doing it and what can go wrong.
No classroom. No theory session. The theory happens while the epoxy is flowing in front of you.
Then you immediately put what you have learned into practice.
Watch it. Understand it. Then create it yourself.
Everything you need during the Masterclass is provided:
All materials • Three 40 × 40 cm panels • Use of tools and equipment • Drinks, snacks and a quick bite are incuded.
During the Masterclass, photographs are taken of you and your work to use for your portfolio, website or social media.
Just bring your creativity!
You will mix. Pour. Create. Make decisions. Ask questions. Experiment. Correct mistakes. And learn.
By the end of the Masterclass, you take home three 40 × 40 cm epoxy panels for your portfolio.
Three different opportunities to understand how colour, composition, movement and technique influence the final design
Small groups. This allows plenty of opportunity to ask questions, receive personal guidance and get help when something doesn’t go quite as planned.
Antoynette guides you throughout the creative process, to make your own design, and to help you understand the principles behind the technique.
A technique can be copied. Good design comes from understanding.

01 Marble Imitation
02 Stone Imitation
Next comes a live demonstration of stone imitation.
Again, you see the complete process and learn why certain choices are made before creating your own version.
Choose the colours and effects that appeal to you and create a second 40 × 40 cm panel with a completely different character.
This is where technique and creativity start to come together.
The day starts at 09:30
First, watch a complete live demonstration of Marble imitation about 15 minutes.
Antoynette explains the process of creating marble effect as she works: colour combinations, movement, depth, technique and the mistakes that can affect the final results.
The aim is not to copy, but create your own version. Understand the technique and use it to create your own design.
Time for a Quick Bite
The final part of the day is more flexible and depends on the interests of the participants.
Antoynette does a live demonstration of Ocean-or Geode art.
After the demonstration, create your own free design interpretation on your third 40 × 40 cm panel.
This gives every Masterclass room for creativity — and means that not every group has to finish the day in exactly the same way. We finish at 14:30
Around 12:00, it’s time for a short break.
Usually we walk to a little restaurant just around the corner for something to eat before returning to the studio.
The quick bite is included in the Masterclass.
Drinks and snacks are also available throughout the day.
Although participants regularly become so absorbed that they forget they are there. 😉
